The theme of this award, which is now in its 25th year is “changemakers.”

“The athletes of Special Olympics are changing the world every day to be more inclusive, to foster acceptance and to recognize difference,” said Mary Davis. “They are the true leaders and, therefore, I celebrate this award with the six million athletes in our movement. They inspire me every day.”

The event, which took place at the Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow, Ireland was the first EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award ceremony (EoY) to take place in person since the beginning of the pandemic.
